cantor-backend-octave software package provides Octave backend for Cantor, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cantor-backend-octave
cantor-backend-octave is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cantor-backend-octave package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cantor-backend-octave *
You will get with cantor-backend-octave package name, version, architecture and description in a table
